The Lana Del Rey

Oreo goodness. Chocolate delight. Cherry topped greatness.

Mel’s Drive-In offers a vast selection of diner classics, but the thing that caught my eye was their Lana Del Rey Shake. I mean… COMMON! I’m in LA, I’m a regular Lana listener, and I’m a connoisseur of anything ice cream adjacent. 

ASK FOR A SIDE OF FRIES, always, anywhere, your future self will thank you.

Upon arrival, you’ll spot a sign that suggests you sit wherever you please. Yes, we got the window nook. I am a sucker for menu’s. I almost missed it, but in the back, you’ll spot an image of the delicacy that is the Lana shake.

Can you ever go wrong with a milkshake that mainly consists of Oreos? No. Honestly, maybe, but not here.

I drank every bit of it. Not only that, I have no idea if they do this when you order the shake, or if it was divine timing, but as the waitress plated the drink, Lana’s music rang in the background. Talk about an experience.
